Banks, holdings and the Warburg Network
Our subsidiary Bankhaus Hallbaum in Hanover, Bankhaus Löbbecke in Berlin and Bankhaus Plump in Bremen operate in the classic private banking business.
Additional special services and products such as the family office with Marcard, Stein & Co and the processing of non-performing loans for third parties at Bankhaus Löbbecke complete the Group’s offering. This also applies to M.M.Warburg & CO Hypothekenbank AG, which operates in the classical mortgage business and acts simultaneously as the Group’s competence centre for real estate.
Abroad, we are represented by M.M.Warburg & CO Luxembourg S.A. in Luxembourg and by M.M.Warburg Bank Schweiz AG in Zurich. The core business areas of the Luxembourg subsidiary bank are, in particular, the administration of externally managed investment funds, the support of institutional customers and independent asset managers, private client business and asset management. The focus of the activities of M.M.Warburg Bank Schweiz AG is on comprehensive service for wealthy private clients.
In the investment fund business we operate mainly through the Warburg Invest Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, based in Hamburg and Frankfurt, M.M.Warburg-LuxInvest S.A. in Luxembourg and for real estate Warburg - Henderson Kapitalanlagegesellschaft in Hamburg.
The companies of the holding company VIGOR Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH as well as the Degussa Bank Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH belong to what is known as the Warburg Network. Because of its organisational structure, VIGOR and Degussa Bank Beteiligungsgesellschaft are closely related to the M.M.Warburg & CO Gruppe (GmbH & Co.) KGaA and its subsidiaries and holdings, without forming a group. I.e. VIGOR and Degussa Bank Beteiligungsgesellschaft are not part of the group.
