Individual programme for a successful career

We offer trainees an individual programme. In order to focus on our core businesses private banking, investment banking and asset management, we offer stations in the areas of Corporate Finance, Private Banking or Sales and Trading. Short periods at companies within the Warburg network, such as Warburg Invest Kapital¬anlagegesellschaft, Hansa Hamburg Shipping and the Hamburgische Immobilien Handlung round out the programme.

The integration of our trainees is supplemented by a comprehensive range of seminars, such as negotiation training, asset structuring, or financial mathematics. Aside from the educational offering, participation in the Warburg network’s junior mentorship programme gives you a good opportunity to begin to set up your own network. Every trainee is paired with a committed member of the management of our bank as his or her personal mentor. After completing the training programme of no more than two years, you will have had a widely diversified formation and may find a number of highly qualified and executive positions at the Warburg network interesting for your future career.

Our trainees are reliable and ambitious, flexible, work well under pressure and show self-initiative. They are naturally customer-orientated without sacrificing their integrity. They achieve success through great persuasiveness and the ability to negotiate. The willingness to take on responsibility is present throughout their professional and private lives. University and polytechnic college graduates who fit this profile and can demonstrate above-average marks are always welcome to apply for our trainee programme. Even if you haven’t attended university, but you have successful and relevant professional experience, such as consultants at financial service providers or bankers who have completed their vocational training at the banking academy, are welcome to apply.
