M.M.Warburg & CO acts as M&A advisor on the sale of Alpha Online GmbH to CarOnSale. As part of a strategic partnership between Alpha Online GmbH and CarOnSale, the shareholders Olaf Bock and Roland Michael have sold their shares in Alpha Online GmbH to CarOnSale (Castle Tech GmbH). Demonstrating their commitment to the joint forces, the founders take on shareholder roles at CarOnSale level alongside existing investors such as Insight Partners, Stripes, HV Capital and Creandum. Since its foundation, Alpha Online has grown to be a leading software provider for the automotive trade. AlphaController enables efficient management of all processes relating to the used car trade, from vehicle registration, valuation and pricing to final remarketing. AlphaAuktion is a leading software solution for online B2B vehicle auctions. Together, CarOnSale and AlphaOnline serve 2,500 locations of large car dealer groups and will sell 100,000 vehicles via auctions this year.
