Online account change
We’re delighted that you have chosen our service and opened an account with us. If you now intend to close an old account, we’d like to relieve you of some of the tedious work. We’ll take care of all the necessary steps. Make it easy for yourself and use our Account Switching Service. All payment partners will be informed about your new bank details. Additionally, we take care of the cancellation with your old bank. How our Account Switching Service works:
You can use our Account Switching service at any time via the link below. Once you click, a login window opens. There, enter the access details for the online banking of your old account that you want to close. All your payment partners will now be automatically determined based on your account transactions.
You select the payment partners who will be informed about your account switch. Here you can also determine which standing orders will be transferred to your new account. Sign with your finger on the smartphone display or with your mouse/trackpad when using a non-touch display. The selected payment partners will now be informed about your account switch.
Finally, use the program to create a cancellation letter for your old bank or savings bank. As soon as the switch is completed, you will receive some information along with all the documents that have been sent.
For the account switching service, we work together with fino digital GmbH. The identification of your payment partners as well as the entire handling process of your account change are carried out automatically via fino. Simple, fast and flexible.
Using the online identification procedure of web-ID Solutions GmbH, one of the leading German companies in the field of digital personal identification, you can provide us with identification seven days a week, including Sundays and holidays, during the hours from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. – securely and conveniently.
The identification process, which complies with the provisions of the German Money Laundering Act, takes approximately five minutes.
To do this, you will need:
- Your personal information (name, address, date of birth)
- Currently valid identification
- A reliable Internet connection
- An e-mail account
- Video telephony (e.g. Skype or you can use the current WebIDent app)
- A webcam on your PC/laptop or smartphone/tablet with the current WebIDent app
